Southtowns Radiology Races for the Cure
HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Southtowns Radiology team, Coppers for a Cure, continued to set the pace at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Buffalo earning accolades as one of the top fundraising teams at this year’s event. In its third year, Coopers for a Cure raised over $9,000 for breast cancer research, placing first in the Community/Public Service team category and third overall.
In addition, team captain Karen Quinn-Higgins came in second overall as an individual fundraiser. “Southtowns Radiology is again proud to be a part of the Race for the Cure,” said Dr. Claudia Fosket, head of women’s imaging at Southtowns Radiology. “Breast cancer awareness is important for women of all ages and the hard work and success of the Coppers team inspires us year after year.”
