X-Rays are available at these locations:
Same-day X-Ray appointments are often available but all appointments must be pre-scheduled via phone.
You must bring the written prescription for the X-Ray or have made arrangements for the order to be faxed to us at 716-649-9005.
An X-Ray is a painless procedure that uses beams to take pictures inside your body. Most often, X-Rays examine bones, although frequently X-Rays are ordered to look at the chest, the lungs, the heart and the digestive system.

Pediatric X-Ray Exams
While Southtowns Radiology is not a pediatric imaging center, we are able to accommodate several X-Ray imaging requests for children. We will do our best to offer same-day appointments as we are able.
The radiologist onsite will review the specific imaging request and will determine on a case-by-case basis if a pediatric appointment can be scheduled in our Hamburg or Orchard Park office.
To inquire about an imaging appointment for your child, please call 716-649-9000 and select option 1. If you are a healthcare provider calling to schedule an appointment for your patient, please use our dedicated provider line by selecting option 3.
Parents and guardians are able to assist their child in preparing for their X-Ray, but are not able to be in the room with the child while the imaging is taken.
How will I receive the results from my X-Ray?
Following your X-Ray, your images will be interpreted by one of our board-certified radiologists. They will provide a detailed report, which may include recommendations for follow up, to your healthcare provider. Reports are typically provided within 24 hours or on the next business day. You should expect to hear your results from your healthcare provider directly.
If you are enrolled in HEALTHeLINK, your images and our radiologist’s report will be available for your healthcare provider to access and to review electronically in your record. Southtowns Radiology will also send the report to any other medical professionals, including specialists or primary care providers, that you indicated should receive a copy.
Your healthcare providers are able to access the images taken during your X-Ray, and our radiologist’s report, anytime via our secure physician portal. Southtowns Radiology can provide copies of your X-Ray images on CD when requested by you or your provider.
