Southtowns Radiology is now offering all screenings at our Orchard Park and Hamburg offices. If you need to schedule your mammography, low dose CT scans for lung cancer screening, DEXA scans, and screening Ultrasound for abdominal aortic aneurysm, you can now do so by calling (649-9000).

As of June 1, Southtowns Radiology is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays (for non-contrast studies). Our scheduling number (649-9000) remains the same.

We want to assure our patients that our employees are practicing proper hygiene and taking precautions, including disinfecting surfaces and screening patients for symptoms before entering the building. Our staff are wearing facemasks and wearing gloves during procedures.

If you were recently exposed to Coronavirus, have a fever over 100.4°, a cough, or shortness of breath, please do not enter the building. If you do have symptoms, we would be happy to reschedule you for a later date.

We ask that ONLY the person scheduled for the test enter our building. Unless you require assistance, please enter alone and ask your companions to wait in the car. If you have any questions or concerns, please call Central Scheduling at 649-9000.

Prioritizing Early Appointments for Seniors

In an effort to accommodate our senior (60+) patients, Southtowns Radiology is prioritizing our early morning appointments for patients over 60. During the Coronavirus crisis, we are working to provide a safer and less crowded environment for our older patients.

The health and safety of our patients are our top concerns. We are adapting our radiology practice to improve individual distancing and enhance our patients’ experience. Specifically:

  • Early morning appointments are prioritized for patients over age 60 or older, and patients who have high-risk medical conditions or special concerns
  • Patients can wait for their appointments in their own vehicles until their procedures are ready to begin
  • X-rays are now being scheduled in advance in 20-minute time slows. This allows plenty of time in between each patient

These efforts are reducing the number of people in our waiting room.
