Same-day results with your personalized breast cancer risk assessments.
We offer all mammography patients Volpara® Scorecard™ at no additional cost. This enhancement helps identify your specific breast density score. Having dense breast tissue is common and is not a cause for concern, but knowing your individual breast density is important for managing your own breast health. Your individualized score is added to your risk assessment evaluation so that your healthcare provider can understand your 10-year and lifetime risk for developing breast cancer. By understanding your personal risk, you and your doctor can determine the best screening tools available to you. Learn more about how breast cancer detection is impacted by breast density.
Our Women’s Imaging team also became the first mammography provider in Western New York to adopt Volpara® Analytics™. This tool ensures high quality imaging, and supports technologists as they follow nationally accredited best-practices related to positioning during breast exams.

We know breast imaging can cause feelings of anxiety and uncertainty. Whether it’s an annual screening appointment or a follow up scan to further evaluate an abnormality, we are focused on offering you the best experience possible.
With a radiologist on site reading mammography studies daily, if something abnormal requires a closer look, such as breast ultrasound, we do our very best to make sure you can have that additional imaging added on while you are in our office.
And, if you need to see our Women’s Care team for a diagnostic mammogram based on a lump, pain, discomfort or discharge from your breast, we work to make sure our physician and our registered nurse are available during your appointment. We also work closely with your primary healthcare provider and/or your OB/GYN to make sure they receive communication of any findings directly.
